Bear World!

As we left Glacier headed South toward Idaho, we stopped at Bear World to let the kids see some bears up close and personal. I have seen these places many times near Yellowstone and other National Parks, but we have never gone inside. They are quite expensive, you have to stay in the car and cannot roll down the windows at all so all of these photos are taken through a fog of glacier dust and dirt! This park had both black bears and grizzlys - all bred in captivity.

The bears do not have enough space to roam and there are handlers there at all times to make sure they do not come too close to the cars.
