ReplyDeleteit does look good. although, i will admit i have a love/hate relationship with masterpiece theatre (not PBS - LOVE PBS). they were wise to show prime suspect snippet in the begininng - those were so well done.
ReplyDeletethis did remind me of the great austen movies already made. have you ever seen the mansfield park movie? i thought that was good. persuasion clips looks better than the only other movie i've seen. i don't know how they can touch pride and prejudice when all three movies (BBC being the best) and book (a true masterpiece) are so amazing. but i'm sure i'll watch to find out. somehow i can't resist a jane austen movie.

ReplyDeleteIt starts on the 13th, Sunday nights at 8:00pm with Persuasion! I am planning on watching the older version this week and MAYBE read the book again before then! We really should get a group together to watch!
