Cheesecake Overload

Yum! Last night we had an enrichment night on cooking cheesecakes. The teacher was from another ward and she was fabulous! She has a wonderful personality (very funny and down to earth) and an enviable accent. Wish I could remember her name.

Here is our group - hmmm, we look a bit crabby, don't we? We have not sampled any cheesecake at this point.

Here are a few of the cheesecakes we sampled:
Peppermint

This is a lemon-curd swirl cheesecake - my favorite of the evening.

Pumpkin-Pecan Cheesecake - this was my offering. I did not have any bourbon, so I substituted brandy that I had left over from an apple pie recipe. They both start with "b" so I assumed they taste about the same?! It was quite yummy.

White Chocolate Cheesecake

Here is our instructor - what's her name?
So, all of the cheesecakes were yummy - we even had one no-bake (the first recipe I ever memorized). I sampled - a lot!
