It's early afternoon and the snow is long gone. It melted away as quickly as it came. After I rushed the children out the door to school, I ran outside to snap some photos of the fluffy white stuff knowing it would never last. It was a beautiful morning - I celebrated the first snow with a glass of eggnog. What did you do?
I found your blog through a search of hobbies. Also the names of our blogs are similar as well. Anyway, when it snows for the first time the kids and I make gingerbread. We are still waiting here for it to snow during the day.
Stacey - your camera takes great pics for a point and shoot. Those are some awesome close-ups. I can't believe you already have snow again. Seems like you were just blogging about finally having summer! It's hard to imagine since we are in our 9th month of summer here! :)
PS - your invites are very cute...I love the "if you don't come, you suck" hahahaa!

I am blessed with three wonderful extended families and many amazingly talented friends. I work full-time in a dental office and we live in a little 1940's rental just five blocks from the public library.
I adore Oregon.
I am happy. I am busy. I am loved.

"Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don’t know how to replenish its source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishing." -Anais Nin
