Our last fun outing during MEA's took us to Jensen Lake. We enthusiastically hiked around the lake picking up little bits of leaves and sticks and the like to use for our craft project. It was another absolutely beautiful day - crisp, but still sunny. After our hike (and a quick call to the Visiting Teachers to ask them to meet me at the end of the trail instead of at my house - slow little legs!), we had a picnic lunch by the lake and then spent the next half hour making our nature faces. Here is what the kids came up with:
I love the pictures of your Friday Fieldtrip with the kidlets - very beautiful autumn pix and very creative children.
I have to tell you, too, that I laughed right out loud about your tale of "Code Adam" and Calvin. It must be hard to want to 'kill' 'em when your laughing so much! TaDa! Thank goodness they are so cute!!
I am a busy Mormon mother with three children from my first marriage and four bonus children in New York. I am a child of God. I am blessed with three wonderful extended families and many amazingly talented friends. I work full-time in a dental office and we live in a little 1940's rental just five blocks from the public library.
I adore Oregon.
I am happy. I am busy. I am loved.
I may be changed by what has happened to me, but I will not be diminished by it. Maya Angelou
"Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don’t know how to replenish its source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishing." -Anais Nin
Beautiful pictures of the fall foliage!
