Fall Leaves Craft
Fall wreath in a box. That's what we're calling it.
We took the leaves and twigs that survived our wild walk around the neighborhood and turned them into these beautiful little wreaths.
A word of advice. Do not let your daughter bring a cattail into the house. Sophie found one on our walk and as we started this craft she decided to break it in half sending a cloud of cattail fibers? floaty thingys? white fluffy stuff? into the air. Every time she picked up a leaf off of the table another cloud of them would float lazily upwards. Those fluffy little things do not sweep up easily. You've been warned.
Basically, we just layered and stuck everything down with hot glue. Try and not let the kids touch the hot glue or they will make this face.
We sent the one with the cattail fluff loosely glued into the center home with Reagan. I'm sure her Mom loves me now.
