Team Edward
I'm off to dinner and a movie with 23 of my closest girlfriends tonight. Full review up tomorrow. I may, maybe, just might have gone to the midnight showing as well. Please do not think I am a complete dork. There were at least 10 people over twenty in the theater . . . and we were six of them.

K- I'm confused so did you go last night to the midnight movie or not? I went and LOVE IT! Some of my friends had mixed reviews about it, but I am really easy to please. And I like it all!!! All the characters fit so well to me. I am in love with James. He is so good looking! Edward grew on me throughout the show and I love him now. I thought it was all put together very well for what they had to work on, a vampire movie. And I loved that Stephanie was in a scene of it. How fun for her! I love how they set it up for the next movie. Can't wait! But hate how they take so long to do the next showing, I didn't want it to end. That two hours went by so fast for me! Can't wait to hear your thoughts. It's funny, but you are one of the people I think about when I think about the books/movie etc. So what did you think?
ReplyDelete@kimberly- i'm guessing she went to both!
ReplyDeletethis post made me smile!! hope you enjoyed your outingS! you certainly deserve it.
I keep checking for your update on the movie...and I can't wait any longer. I just went to see it for myself. Here is my take.
ReplyDeleteWhat I liked:
1. Jacob, Charlie, Emmett, Esme, James and Alice-perfect picks and good acting!
2. The beauty of Edward. I literally could not take my eyes off him. I'm thinking of getting a poster for my room.(Wonder if Ross will mind).
3. The Cullen's home
4. The baseball scene...only wish it were longer
5. The kissing scene at the prom...I could watch that over and over...WOW!!!
What I disliked:
1. Acting by Bella and Edward. Bella was a little bit too melancholy and stiff. I wish she would smile more at Edward. Maybe she needs to take lessons from Mr. Darcy. Edward was awkward and his voice changed from odd/hoarse to pleasant to odd though he generally improved as the movie progressed.
2. The special effects...a bit lame
3. Dr. Cullen's hair. He is not a Ken doll but he sure looked like he had a head of plastic hair.
4. The meadow scene.
5. Rosalie, she is suppost to be the most beautiful and unfortunately as shallow as it sounds, she was nothing more than ordinary to me.
6. Jacob's hair in his first scene was a bit distacting...it looked like the wig it was.
7. Bella's studdering. Less is more!
OVerall, I liked it. There were flaws but with a bigger budget for the next film, hopefully they will be fixed!
