Rising Stars DI Competition

Saturday was the big day for our Destination Imagination Competition. We had one big wrench thrown in on Friday night when we found out that one of our kids, Tate had step throat/Flu and could not make it on Saturday. Poor Tate had worked really hard and knew his lines perfectly so we felt awful that he could not be there for the big day. In the end, Sophie learned Tate's part and Jeffery learned Sophie's and by the time we had to perform on Saturday morning the kids were all ready.

The kids did a great job and received some very encouraging comments from the judges like:
"You worked really hard! I learned a lot!"
"Very well rehearsed"
"I loved the alien! Great NASA employees!"
"You guys worked so hard on your props!"
"Really talented team! Keep up the great work!"
"What a cool control board! The planets were really creative!"
"Best play I've seen so far!"

CONGRATULATIONS HISTORY HOPPERS!

After our competition, the kids participated in an Instant Challenge where they had to create and name exotic bugs. They all did a great job and were very creative!
