It is a "new-to-me" digital SLR camera which is going to allow me to take close-ups like these.
It makes me so happy and I do not even know how to use it yet. It came from my high-school friend Tor who is a photographer and filmmaker in LA (check out his website here). We reconnected via facebook and when he heard I was looking into upgrading to an SLR, he offered to sell me his old Canon EOS D1 and two lenses. It weighs a ton and even looks intimidating, but I am going to learn how to use it and use it well. It is going to enable me to sell my crafts on Etsy and hopefully one day dip my toe into professional photography. Thank you so much Tor and Merry Christmas to me!
