Dollar Store Crafting
We made a wreath today for the front door. I bought the wreath form and the plastic (do not try this with glass) ornaments at the dollar store for $9.00. The kids helped open the packages, snipped off the strings and then held each little ball in place while the glue cooled. It's pretty darn cute and cheap! Note for you: use lots and lots of hot glue or the random ornaments will pop off when the door slams.

Wow. That really is cute! Way to be thrifty and cute at the same time!
ReplyDeleteI got all our decor from the dollar store and got crafty as well. I could get use to this crafting thing.
ReplyDeleteAre these pictures from your new camera in action or are the colors just really bright??
Hey May - that's my fancy new camera. Of course, all I have figured out is how to turn it on and manually focus the lens. At some point I am going to figure out this camera!
ReplyDeleteIt does make a huge difference. The color is much sharper. It really separates the images (the fade), almost 3D like. What a great investment. That wreath is pretty snappy too.
ReplyDeleteCopying that wreath at my place. I love it!
