On Tuesday morning we drove about 1/2 North of Helena to go on a boat tour along part of the Missouri River travelled by Lewis and Clark. The tour guide did an amazing job telling us about the history of the area as well as identifying plants, animals and rock formations. The tour took about two hours - we were unable to get off at the campsite located near the Mann Gulch Fire site due to current wildfires in the area. The air was quite smoky during much of our travel near Helena.
