Thursday was Max's last day of first grade! We met him on the sidewalk outside of Red Pine Elementary to walk home with him. It was a good thing we showed up! Look at the size of that backpack! It took over an hour for Max to show me everything he brought home!
On the last day of school the kids received rewards for accomplishments during the school year. Max received a certificate for Destination Imagination and a CD of his TV appearance on Kare 11 News when he won the school biography contest.
First grade has been a good year for Max. He has grown a lot and had a much better year with his teachers. We are going to miss Mrs. Mehlhaff, his first grade teacher - she has been wonderful!
