Lentil Roasted Garlic Soup
My aunt Sherrie in Seattle, many years ago, gave me a cookbook called The Daily Soup. This is their Lentil Roasted Garlic soup and it is both delicious and hearty, and perfect for a cold winters day.
I am going to try and post more savory recipes. I find that I love to eat the sweets and they are prettier in a photo, but really, I need to step away from the sugar!

Yes, to get a good photo with my point and shoot camera, I take all of my food photos outside. My neighbors think I'm a bit strange.
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty bowl, too, by the way.
ReplyDeleteMaybe just take a fork out with you (or a spoon in this case) and offer a taste to your neighbors - then they may think you're a bit strange, but in a good way!!
