I do not remember ever going up to the Como Zoo in St. Paul during the fall, but it made for a great Halloween destination. I took the kids up last Friday and the whole zoo - inside and out - is decorated for Halloween. My favorite spot was inside the arboreum. The gardens are planted with mums, sunflowers and red pepper plants and the tropical garden had blooms that I have never seen there in the summer. The kids had a great time - we did forget to bring the stroller which meant I either had to carry the baby or chase him constantly. That was not so fun.
