I really had no choice, My first missed it by 9 days and my second missed it by 7 days this year. In the end, it has all worked out. My First is the tallest in her class and looks so much older than her age which is why I was worried about her being held back another year, but she is really shy and I think the extra year was good for her. True, all of her Church friends are starting First Grade this year but there was nothing I could do about it. My second is Autistic and I think the extra year in the Autistic room will help him with his Speech and his Social so he will be ready next year. All is well in the end.
